Le service civique vous offre de nouvelles expériences dans le monde entier.

problemEn France comme à l’étranger, le service civique peut parfaitement se dérouler. Qu’il s’agisse d’une aide humanitaire ou au développement ou encore d’un projet personnel, cet engagement amène à repenser son parcours de manière plus ou moins radicale.

La mission à l’étranger est avant tout un engagement volontaire qui s’ouvre à tous les jeunes de 16 à 25 ans, sans aucune condition de diplôme ni d’expérience professionnelle. Pour une durée de 6 à 12 mois, cette nouvelle expérience représente une plus-value à votre CV pour vos projets futurs.

Les différentes formes de missions

Depuis 2010, près de 2 000 volontaires se sont engagés dans plus de 90 pays pour des missions d’intérêt général. 9 différents domaines sont concernés et sont reconnus prioritaires pour la Nation : solidarité, santé, éducation, environnement, culture et loisirs, sport, mémoire et citoyenneté, développement international et humanitaire et intervention d’urgence en cas de crise. Les missions se déclinent également sous deux formes très distinctes :

  • L’engagement (10 à 12 mois) : adressé aux jeunes de 16 à 25 ans et financé par l’État.
  • Le volontariat (allant jusqu’à 2 ans) : adressé aux personnes de 26 ans et plus. Le soutien financier de l’État porte généralement sur des cotisations sociales.

Les territoires concernés

Vous pouvez entreprendre des missions auprès d’un organisme à but non lucratif comme les fondations, les associations, les fédérations et l’ONG. Cet engagement peut être réalisé auprès de personnes morales de droit public comme l’État, les collectivités territoriales et les établissements publics. La liste des pays concernant les missions de service civique à l’étranger varie en fonction des besoins. Votre choix peut alors être amené à être repensé durant les phases de candidatures.

Les conditions requises et les modalités

Pour être volontaire, il est nécessaire de :

  • Avoir 16 à 25 ans
  • Avoir la nationalité française ou la nationalité d’un État membre de l’UE ou de l’Espace économique européen
  • Ou justifier un séjour régulier en France depuis plus d’un an

Concernant l’indemnisation, elle comporte deux aspects différents :

  • Une indemnité de 473,04€/mois versée par l’Etat
  • Une prestation en espèces ou en nature d’une valeur de 107,58€/mois donnée par l’organisme agréé, couvrant les frais d’alimentation et de transport du volontaire

migrationLa mission service civique à l’étranger vous permet de répondre aux différents besoins des populations locales à l’étranger, en participant à des actions utiles à la société. Tout au long de la période du volontariat, un tuteur vous est attribué qui aura pour mission de vous accompagner personnellement en réalisant des points réguliers sur les expériences déjà vécues comme les problèmes rencontrés, ainsi que les aspects positifs. Il vous permet également de vous préparer après votre mission à l’étranger (reprise d’études, emploi…). Cet engagement favorise aussi la découverte d’une autre culture et le partage de votre culture avec celle des autres.

Cette mission est un bon moyen de s’épanouir et d’enrichir ses expériences. Si vous respectez les conditions requises, vous pouvez parfaitement postuler pour le pays qui vous intéresse.

La mission à l’étranger propose de nombreux avantages pour le volontaire.
